Our benefactor, Margaret S. Chang, was a generous lady.  As a young girl in Hawaii, she learned that a friend didn't have enough money to buy himself a guitar, so she gave him hers.  The giving didn't end with the guitar, either.  Throughout her life Margaret gave of her time, talent and treasure.
 
 "With understanding and patience, you have guided our class through our high school years.  With generosity, you have given us of your teaching time and of your private time.  With self sacrifice, you have provided encouragement and inspiration for our endeavors. Through you, our three years at New Brunswick High School have been challenging and rewarding.  We thank you sincerely."

The Margaret and Peter Chang Foundation was established as a 501(c)(3) Foundation to improve the health and well-being of children in the Scotch Plains (NJ) area.
